The hinge is machined from a single block of grade 5 titanium. The cushions are merino wool woven with copper thread, which is why they stay cool in July and quiet in January.

In the case.
The cups fold flat and the case closes on a felt cradle cut to the millimetre. It fits a coat pocket, a desk drawer, or a bag that has seen better days.
